Tuesday night outreach in Tampa

God's love was so thick and tangible in Tampa on Tuesday night! Tuesday was a cloudy and rainy day so we spent time in prayer asking God to keep the night clear and dry. It didn't rain once while we were in Tampa, but it was raining in Sarasota and all around Tampa. Isn't God so faithful and wonderful? :)

Also we were very blessed with the musical talents of our friend Megan Carlson! Thanks to her beautiful voice and guitar playing, many joined in to worship God right there on the sidewalk! It's amazing to feel the Lords presence so thick and strong come down on you while you are just loving Him, regardless of where you are! Isn't it awesome that He is always with us and doesn't only show up in a church, or while we are faithfully doing our christian "duties"? Jesus takes every opportunity He can to show you how much He adores you!

Along with awesome worship music with great friends, Jesus opened up many opportunities to pray and minister to people. We are continuing to pray for jobs and homes for many people, as well as Gods love to be revealed more and more to everyone we are meeting through this ministry. All of your prayers are very much welcomed and appreciated too! :)

Oh oh oh and I just have to share with you all another wonderful miracle God did on Tuesday! So the word has started to spread about us coming out on Tuesday, serving very yummy food. My estimation of how many people were there this week is about 50-60 people and we were able to serve enough so everyone got firsts, seconds and even third servings! God totally multiplied the food! And while I was serving people I wasn't giving out tiny little portions. Oh no no no, I was heaping on as much food as possible! LOL! I remember looking at the food I was serving, seeing how much was there regardless of how much I was serving, and thinking "gosh when is the pan gonna be empty?" Haha that is the grace of God! Along with the delicious food and desserts Journey provided, a man came out of nowhere with a big bag of very yummy fresh bread. Solomon and I have no idea who this guy was! He just showed up, gave Solomon the bread and left. The bread was definitely fresh and very soft and very good! That was completely God provided even more food for us! Well we prayed for MORE than enough and of course He answered that prayer. :)

I had the opportunity to take many pictures and am working on uploading them to a Flickr account so I can post them here on the blog for everyone to see. Right now I have to get going though, because it is Thursday night and Solomon and I are heading out to Three Points Oasis Park to serve, love on people and see Gods grace and perfect love rain down on Sarasota! Please pray for everyone who is serving and for all the wonderful people we are ministering to! Thank you for your support everyone, we love you very much! Be blessed!

Welcome to Kingdom Perspective

Hello all!

My sister in Christ, Sarah Miller and I, have created this blog to share how the love of God is transforming peoples lives. As you might already know, we go out to Tampa, FL on Tuesday nights at 9PM (Gas Light Park, downtown Tampa, off of Madison) and on Thursday nights at 9PM we go to downtown Sarasota (Three Points Oasis Park, across from the Marie Selby Public Library) to feed the hungry and temporary homeless. Now we say temporary homeless because we do not want to put a permanent label on anyone. God has been and continues to provide homes and jobs to those who have struggled with that and we believe and are praying that they are only temporarily in those situations.

Not only is Yahweh providing homes and jobs, we are seeing a continual out pouring of His Holy Spirit. Many people are being healed from all kinds of sickness and diseases such as, cancer, arthiritis, broken bones, fractures, open head wounds and much much more! Many spiritual and emotional healings are taking place as well. We have had many opportunities to pray with lots of wonderful people and see God heal spiritual affiction and heal hurting hearts. Hallelujah! We are very thankful that Jesus gave us these ministries and has used us to bring His Kingdom into Florida!

Please continue to check back frequently for weekly updates, praise reports, testimonies and the amazing things that God is doing in these ministries! Bless you! :)
